Flothemes joins the Pixieset Family

At Pixieset, our mission is to equip and inspire everyone on the journey towards running their own photography business. In 2019, we launched Pixieset Website to give photographers an easy and fun way to build a stunning photography website that stands out online. In just over a year, more than 65,000 photographers started using Pixieset Website to showcase their work, tell their story, and market their business online.

Today, we are incredibly excited to announce that we are welcoming Flothemes, a leading provider in WordPress themes for photographers and creatives, to join the Pixieset family. The shared vision between the two companies will allow us to take another big step towards the mission of giving every photographer a beautiful website.

Who is Flothemes?

Flothemes is well-known in the photography community for their beautiful and bespoke WordPress website templates. They introduced some of the first WordPress website templates focused specifically on design and visual portfolios, and their timeless and elegant designs have helped tens of thousands of photographers gain more confidence in the way they present their business online. To say that they’ve changed the website design industry for photographers would be an understatement.

The beauty and elegance of the Flothemes designs are undeniable (check out some examples here, and here). Yet, the main driver for this merger are the people working behind Flothemes. A team of very real, kind and passionate individuals, who truly care and want to help the photography community succeed and grow.

It didn’t take long to visualize what would happen if we joined forces, put all our expertise, product knowledge and vision side by side, and built tools and products that will advance the photography industry.

What's Next?

You can expect to see some of Flothemes' beautiful templates available on Pixieset Website in the future. We will be building on the Flothemes team's knowledge of the industry and continuing to advance website design and tools on the Pixieset platform. Our roadmap is ambitious and we are excited to have a great team to join us on this journey.
