NEW! Payment Links to sell anything, anywhere
Photographers don’t offer just sessions. You sell presets, workshops, add-ons, courses, and all kinds of creative services. While Studio Manager makes it easy to create and send professional invoices, not every payment fits into a full invoice — like small ad-hoc payments, session extras, or even a simple “thank you” tip after delivering a gallery. That’s why we’re introducing Payment Links — simple, branded pages you can create in seconds to collect payments for anything. Create a Payment Link, share it anywhere, and get paid through the same link anytime.
What are Payment Links?
A Payment Link is a standalone, branded payment page that you can share with clients to get paid for a service, product, or anything else. Payment Links don’t need to be created for each transaction. You simply create a link once and reuse it — allowing clients to pay through it anytime, from any device.
Payment Links adapt to how you want to get paid. You can charge a fixed fee or suggest flexible amounts (perfect for tips). Depending on your payments setup, you can choose to get paid through Stripe (credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and PayPal. If you use Pixieset Payments, you can also offer options like Klarna, Affirm, Link, manage payouts, refunds, disputes, and more.
Sell anything, anytime
Payment Links open up more opportunities for you to make money and grow your photography business. Here are a few ways you can use them:
- Tips after a session — after delivering a gallery, send a follow-up message to the client with a review request and include your payment link for optional tips. View example.
- Workshops and other events — collect payments for workshops, mentorship, or other events you organize. View example.
- Session add-ons — charge for last-minute requests like extra hours, additional locations or outfits, or make-up and hair services.
- Retainers or deposits — create a reusable Payment Link for your standard booking deposits and send it every time you get an inquiry. View example.
- Presets and digital product — sell presets, guides, or other digital products by linking your payment page from your website, then deliver the files after purchase.
- Other fees — if you’ve had to cover park permits, parking fees, or any other logistical costs for the session, you can easily collect that money from the client through a Payment Link.
The possibilities are endless. If you need a simple way to collect a payment for your business, you can use a Payment Link.
Create once, reuse anytime
Whenever you have a one-off or recurring payment that doesn’t require a personalized invoice, you can use a Payment Link. To set it up quickly, start with a ready-made template in your dashboard and customize it to fit your needs — then you’re all set. Add your Payment Link to your website or landing pages, include it in emails, or send it directly to clients whenever you need to collect a payment.
It’s a simple way to keep getting paid for a service or product, without any extra steps.
Track all your payments in Pixieset
Just like everything else in Studio Manager, payments made through Payment Links are organized and easy to track inside your dashboard. Each time a client completes a payment, an invoice is automatically generated. You can easily review the transactions that come through a Payment Link, track your earnings, and keep your bookkeeping neat.
Create your first Payment Link
To create your first Payment Link, go to Studio Manager > Payments > Payment Links and click New Payment Link. Fill out the details, publish, and start sharing your Payment Link with clients.
