2024 Year in Review

2024 was a year of hard work, exciting milestones, and meaningful connections with our community. We announced exciting new features and are putting the finishing touches on a few highly-requested upcoming tools. Through it all, our mission remains the same — to help photographers and other creatives grow their businesses with intention and purpose. New features launched in 2024

This year, Pixieset introduced new features designed to keep you organized and to make your clients happier. We’ve added tools to manage and deliver your photography work, streamline client communication, and simplify booking, all in one place. We’ve also rebuilt Client Gallery to better support your evolving needs, laying the foundation for more powerful updates in the future.

Client Gallery and Store

• All-new Client Gallery dashboard. A fresh interface with all the features you know and love and new functionality to power up your workflow. Upload photos in the background, choose from multiple view options, drag & drop to rearrange, an action bar for bulk edits, collection presets and more. • Star collections and photos. Bookmark your favorite work and easily find it again in a separate tab. It comes in handy when you want to curate your portfolio and find your standout work for social media and blogposts, or pull up your best sessions to share with potential clients.
• Folders. Need to deliver multiple galleries from a sports competition, music festival, dance recital, school portraits, or even mini sessions? Group all relevant galleries into a folder, and share just one link for everyone’s convenience. Discover more ways to use Folders in your photography workflow.
• Manage galleries from your phone. Log into your Pixieset dashboard on your phone and enjoy a smooth experience. Upload photos and videos from your camera roll, edit client galleries and share them, all on the go.
• Upload 4k videos. Let your customers experience the unmatched detail, texture, and color in your work. Deliver videos in stunning quality with your Pixieset gallery, which clients can download straight to their devices. This option is available with Client Gallery Pro, Ultimate, and Suite plans.
• New Holiday card designs in Store. Our card collection is updated yearly with new, festive designs, so your clients can create beautiful, personalized greetings for their loved ones. Studio Manager

• Projects. Stay on top of your workflow by organizing all your client work on a neat project board. Each project card can include all key details, from documents and payments to booked sessions, client info, and more. As you progress with your work, move your project card from one stage to another until it’s completed. Learn more about Projects in Studio Manager.
• Inbox. Manage all your client communication in one place. Whether you're responding to an inquiry, following up on a document, or receiving an excited reply about a gallery you shared — you can message clients directly from Inbox and get instant notifications when they respond. • Email templates. Instead of retyping the same message, create email templates that you can easily reuse. Whether it’s a reply to inquiries, a follow-up message with session details, or instructions on how to fill out a document — create a template and save time in the future. • Booking coupons. Want to surprise clients with a special discount? You can do that by creating coupons for your booking site. When a client books a session, they’ll apply the coupon to redeem the discount. Learn more about offering session discounts with coupons.
• New features for the Mini Session Creator. You can now create multi-day schedules for your mini sessions, duplicate existing schedules, and display taken spots on your booking site to highlight demand and spark urgency. Learn more about Pixieset Mini Session Creator.

Pixieset Website

• New Flex Editor elements and blocks. We added new elements to Flex Editor, the drag-and-drop builder in Pixieset Website. From slideshows and image grids to FAQs and maps — the 9 new elements give you more creative freedom when designing your website pages. Learn more about the new elements in Pixieset Website.
• Draft sites. Want to redesign your website or try a new theme? Create a draft site and work on all the changes in a safe environment, at your own pace. • Pixieset referral program. In 2024, we revamped our referral program to make sharing about Pixieset with your community more rewarding. Grab your referral link from your dashboard and share it online. Each person who signs up through your link gets 20$ off their first paid plan, while you earn $20 inside your account.
