At Pixieset, 2025 has been a year of growth, creativity, and connection. We’ve launched new tools, introduced a mobile app, and watched our community of photographers grow in incredible ways. New features launched in 2025

This year, Pixieset introduced new features to help you stay organized, get paid faster, and provide a wonderful experience for your clients. We launched the highly requested Studio Manager mobile app, along with new features to manage and deliver your photography work, organize your finances, and streamline client communication. To bring it all together, we also launched a brand-new website to help more photographers discover tools to grow their business with confidence.

Client Gallery

• RAW file support in galleries. Whether you photograph in RAW to preserve details and have more flexibility when editing and retouching, or you prefer to deliver RAW files alongside your final images, Pixieset makes this process seamless. You can upload, share, and proof RAW files directly in your galleries, just like any other photo. Learn more about uploading RAW files to Client Gallery.
• Create collections in bulk. Create several galleries in one go with your preferred settings and client information already in place. This feature is perfect for photographers who specialize in high-volume work, school portraits, teams, sports events, or mini sessions, and want to speed up their workflow. • Add descriptions to photo sets. Add a personal touch to your galleries with photo set descriptions. Include a quote from your clients’ vows, a line from a favorite song, or a few heartfelt words that tell the story behind the set.
• Elevated video delivery. Enjoy an enhanced video player that offers your clients a cinematic experience with 4K playback, adjustable speed, and casting options to bigger screens (available on all Pro and Ultimate plans for Client Gallery and Suite). You can also add extra hours of video storage to your plan and choose a custom thumbnail right from the video to make every delivery feel personal and on-brand. • Star your collections and photos in bulk. The Star feature lets you mark your favorite work and quickly access it in the Starred tab. Perfect for client pitches, social posts, or blog updates. And now you can star multiple items at once for an even faster workflow. Select several collections, or drag your mouse cursor over photos you want to select inside a gallery, then click “Star” in the bottom toolbar to star them all at once.
• Improved collection preset settings. You can now save a collection’s settings as a new preset to reuse the same setup for future collections. You can also apply a preset to an existing collection to keep your settings consistent. Learn more about using presets in Client Gallery.
• Display collections as a list. Choose how you view your collections in the Client Gallery dashboard — as a list for faster scanning or as a grid view for a more immersive look.
• Manage photos and videos faster with keyboard shortcuts. Speed up your workflow with keyboard shortcuts for Client Gallery to navigate, select, and manage your photos and videos. View the keyboard shortcuts available in Client Gallery.
• Enhanced collection expiry options. Get notified about galleries you’ve set to expire, so you can follow up with clients in time. You can also send expiry reminder emails to Collection Contacts (visitors, those who created Favorites lists, and anyone who downloaded or purchased images), so no one misses their chance to download or order prints before the gallery closes.
• More ways for clients to share their gallery and photos. We’ve updated the social sharing options to make it easy for clients to showcase their photos and get more eyes on your beautiful work. They can now share their galleries with family and friends on Messenger, WhatsApp, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, email, and more — from any device.
• Other small updates inside Client Gallery

Studio Manager

• The Studio Manager mobile app. Run your photography business on the go — review bookings, send invoices, and stay connected with clients, all from your phone. You can also collect in-person payments with Tap to Pay, and stay on top of upcoming sessions, new payments, and client messages with instant notifications and reminders. Download the app for free on the App Store or Google Play.
• Pixieset Payments. Manage everything related to payments in one place. No switching between platforms — all your invoices, payouts, disputes, and refunds are in Studio Manager. You can also give clients more flexible ways to pay: credit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link), buy-now-pay-later options (Affirm, Klarna), and more. Pixieset Payments is available in the US and Canada. Check this tutorial for a detailed walkthrough.
• Tap to Pay. Collect in-person payments right from your phone with Tap to Pay in the Studio Manager mobile app. Just enter the amount and the client taps their card, phone, or smartwatch to pay. You can also generate a QR code for clients to scan and pay with their phone — perfect for when you’re on the go, or taking payments on the spot. Tap to Pay is available with Pixieset Payments and the Studio Manager mobile app.

• Gift cards for booking sessions. Want to thank a repeat client or someone they’ve referred, and encourage more bookings? Create a custom gift card in Studio Manager, choose the amount, and share it. They can redeem it toward an invoice or at checkout on your booking site to cover their session fee. • File attachments for Inbox. Share guides, documents, or media files with clients, right from Studio Manager. You can now attach 30+ file types, including PDFs, DOCX, JPGs, GIFs, MP4s, ZIPs, and more — to any email you send. Learn more about file attachments in Inbox.
• Reports for payments. Get a clear overview of your earnings with easy-to-read graphs. Track revenue, tips, and taxes, filter by dates, spot your busiest and slowest months, and be more prepared for tax season. Learn more about payment reports in Studio Manager.
• Pixieset Capital. Need funds to grow your photography business, invest in new gear, or cover slow periods? Request a cash advance directly in Pixieset, pay a flat fee instead of interest, and repay automatically from your future sales. Pixieset Capital is available to eligible US-based users — once you qualify, this option will appear in your Studio Manager dashboard. Learn more.

Pixieset Website

• New website templates. This year, we brought 30 beautiful templates designed for photographers. All are powered by Flex Editor, our drag-and-drop builder that gives you full design flexibility over your site.

  • Portfolio templates that keep the focus on your work, with minimal distractions;
  • One-page templates for those who want a beautiful, punchy way to present their brand on a single page.

• AI-generated alt texts for images and page descriptions. Use AI to generate alt text for your images, making your site more accessible and helping search engines understand what your photos are about. Turn this feature on to automatically create short descriptions for all current and future photos uploaded to your site. You can also use AI to generate page descriptions that appear as short summaries in Google search, help more people discover your work online, and boost your SEO. • Blog migration. Want to update your website to a new template? You can automatically import all your existing blog posts into the new site. The content stays intact, and your live site is not affected. Our migration tool simply copies your posts into the new site template, so you can continue building your blog without starting from scratch. Learn more.
• Page redirects. If you moved or deleted a page, you can set up URL redirects and forward traffic from old links to new ones, so no one ends up on a 404 page. • Anchor links. Make it easy for visitors to navigate long pages with clickable anchor links to help them jump to specific sections. Anchor links help people move directly to parts of a page, like FAQs, testimonials, or pricing, without scrolling. They’re also helpful for mobile visitors, making your site smoother to explore. • Trash bin. Accidentally deleted a page or block on your website? Restore it within 30 days from the trash bin, and get your work back with just a click.
